Exchanging hats and wearing a CPU cap.

Last week I inherited the CPU caps project from Andrei. The project touches a lot of scheduler code. The whole week was devoting to extracting the design from Andrei's head into a written form. The next step is to prepare a readable design document that can be used to work on the project. The intensive review also uncovered some issues that I'll post on the CPU caps OpenSolaris page soon. It is a sad feeling - Andrei advanced the project to a very mature state and it is a pity he is not able to complete it.

Sasha, thanks for agreeing to take the CPU Caps project from me. Even though I'm not at Sun anymore, I'll always be available by e-mail if you ever need to discuss anything related to this project. I wish there was an open mercurial repository so that I could participate in this project more directly. Thanks again and good luck!
