3rd OpenSolaris User Group Meeting - June 28th 7:30pm Santa Clara

OpenSolaris

Next Tuesday, one night only!

Absolutely free of charge and all community members welcome! Everyone is welcome to attend!

A night not to miss, and there should be good times and something for all!

Yes, the 3rd OpenSolaris User Group and for this event we'll have the OpenSolaris group hosting the meeting this month in honor of the release of OpenSolaris, Keith Wesolowski and Mike Kupfer will be presenting on Building and Using OpenSolaris. This will be a great meeting for those wanting to know the nitty gritty details about OpenSolaris and what it took to get it in your hands. Both Keith and Mike have done a tremendous amount of work to get OpenSolaris to where it is today and will share with you some of the details that will help you make the best of it for yourself.

The meeting will take place at the Sun Santa Clara Auditorium (upstairs, SCA03), where we have met for the past couple months, same time - 7:30pm-10:00pm.

Most of you probably know where the Auditorium is, but just in case you don't, use the directions above, or ask someone where it is. It's fairly easy to get to.

We will be having a new venue this month, a panel of Sun engineers that will field questions, and this will take place after the main presentation. Here's a chance to meet some of the Sun engineers that work on Solaris, many of whom have been pushing for OpenSolaris to surface for some time. We will have engineers from many of the various areas of Solaris and hope to have all bases covered, so please bring your toughest questions for them to answer for you.
