Yet another tool to support Tiger
BlueJ 2.0 is out with support for Java 5.0 (all new language features).
If you've never heard of it, this is a very nice free tool to learn or teach Java:
- it includes class structure diagrams
- it comes with a code pad to quickly evaluate statements and expressions
- it uses ANTLR (ANother Tool for Language Recognition) under the covers
It's being developed mainly by universities across the world (Australia, Denmark, UK, France, and others) and as I understand James Gosling is also a contributor (or at least a big fan)...
