Groovy has a new leader
David Flanagan was the first one to pick up the spec lead change for JSR 241 (Groovy). Bravo to Guillaume for taking over the position.
From what I hear, a 1.0 version is scheduled for this year! ;-)
I think the Groovy community still doesn't realize the world didn't wait for them and how much having a 1.0 version out will put them back on everyone's radar.
I hope the reference implementation and compatibility tools required by the JCP process will not change this.
