Do as I say

If you're a speaker at the next O'Reilly Open Source conference, you'll have to choose between PPT and HTML (not even OpenXML). How hard is it to also provide the .odp template (.otp actually)?. This being an Open Source conference, it would be great to promote Libre tools and provide free alternatives. Maybe all those presentations will have no value after the software that was used to create them has disappeared. As a kid I seldom heard "do as I say, not what I do". How convenient! :)

Update: O'Reilly reports that this page is out of date and that they load OpenOffice on all session machines. And to be quite fair the media company behind JavaOne uses lots of windows and powerpoint at the show.
