This is a pirate.. This is not

Consumer Electronic Association ad: " It's time the content industry learned the difference. ". " Stop this unprecedented government intrusion into your private, noncomertial and legitimate home entertainment practices."

By the way, USA isn't the only country in which this happens, in Spain, for example, the content industry and author societies also behave like gangsters.

iParty 8

Tomorrow morning I'll be heading to iParty 8 (Valencia, Spain). I will be there until Sunday when the party is finished.

Since I left Spain, almost two years ago now, I haven't been to a net party. I guess the last one was Euskal Party 11 which took place quite a while ago (Actually, I used to enjoy net parties more in the past, I don't know if it is either because I'm getting old or because there are now way too many gamers ;-)

Anyway, I'll be giving a talk on Cherokee at the party: the basics of the project, a walk through the server features, how to configure a high performance server, and finally I'll explain the cool features which we are working on in the unstable branch (believe me, they are really cool) :-)

After the party, I'll be in Madrid for a few days (from April 23th to April 28th). I hope I'll have time to catch up with friends over there (I'm not on vacation, just working from home).

Happy for living in the fourth floor
Check this out. I few hours ago I took a couple of pictures of a guy breaking into a house:

The guy breaking into the house

Same guy, leaving..

.. sometimes I wonder if I chose the right country to live in. This year Ireland has been named again 'best country', but I guess they didn't take in consideration this kind of things (neither its national alcoholism problem, high taxes or lack of Universal health care).
