I haven't blogged for a couple of weeks now, so I'm going to try to briefly summarize what I should have written during these days.

• OpenSolaris Day 2008: It has taken me a few more days than I expected, but I have finally found some time to upload my pictures of the OpenSolaris / OpenJava Day 2008 conference. Here you have them:

  

• GUADEC: I am still regretting I could not attend GUADEC.

• Vacation photos: I have also uploaded a few pictures of my vacation. "What for?" would you think. I couldn't tell you.. I'd say: why not? :)

  

• Cherokee Win32: Taher Shihadeh has been working really hard on the Windows port of Cherokee. Yesterday he explained how to set up a good enough software environment to compile the project, which it is not as easy as it may sound. Check it out at his post "Cherokee on Windows: improving the building environment".

  

• The upcoming Cherokee 0.8: A new Cherokee release is on its way, and it brings quite a few new features and structural improvements, mostly focussed on improving the server performance even more. Even though it's required us a lot of work, I'm delighted about the versions that we have delivered during the last few months.. which is certainly encouraging. :-)
