Just upgraded to Ubuntu 8.10 Beta. Its simple to do - if you are running Ubuntu 8.04:

On Restart, you will have new entries in the GRUB menu- an extra entry will be added for the new kernel.
- Alt + F2
- 'update-manager -d'

On Restart, you will have new entries in the GRUB menu- an extra entry will be added for the new kernel.

When I try to upgrade using command 'update-manager -d' I got a message "Could not open location file:///home/..... The location or file could not be found"

@Praveen: Did you type space between manager and -d?

@Praveen, Make sure you have a space.
@ Martin: Thanks!
