Fujitsu Siemens to OEM Solaris
In case you missed the announcement, Fujitsu Siemens plans to OEM (forgive the verb abuse) Solaris on its PRIMERGY servers. As a Sun-centric way of summing up this news, it seems that x86 server vendors just can't get enough of ZFS, Predictive Self-Healing, virtualization and Dynamic Tracing (DTrace), as well as all of the other enhancements and features found in the latest version of Solaris.
