Thanks to the modular design of the the tiny hypervisor, these partners can focus on building world-class software products without worrying about compatability with the underlying systems. In addition to being an ideal solution for OEM partners, with more than 5 million downloads to date, VirtualBox has proven immensely appealing to developers and power users looking to run multiple guest OSes on a single computer.
