This morning Sun and the United States National Security Agency (NSA) announced a new OpenSolaris community project to develop a new Mandatory Access Control (MAC) based on the NSA's Flux Advanced Security Kernel (FLASK) architecture. Spearheaded by the NSA and Sun, the new community project is open to the the public at OpenSolaris.org. For more information, you can:
