JSR 268 Early Draft Review
We (that is the JSR 268 expert group) have reached the first public milestone of JSR 268: the JCP Early Draft Review. This means you can now go to jcp.org and download the current draft of the specification. See the package documentation for javax.smartcardio for a quick introduction and a list of open issues.
If you like the API (and if you don't), please send an email to jsr-268-comments@jcp.org to let us know any suggestions you may have. The official review runs until June 23rd, but we welcome comments any time.
Watch this space for further updates, such as when it will integrate into Mustang.
