Smart Card I/O JSR
OK, I have not been posting quite as many entries as I had planned. I'll try to do better, promise...
In particular, because I now have one more topic to write about: JSR 268, where we will define an API that allows J2SE applications to talk to Smart Cards. I think it will be pretty cool, although it may not generate quite as much interest as, say, JSR 14 ;-) Anyway, the plan is for it to be part of the Mustang release (i.e. "J2SE 6.0"). Watch this space for progress reports.
And if you would like to join the expert group and help define the API, please go to the JCP web site and input your information.
