讲述的故事是在圣经里，亚当夏娃在伊甸园中的情景，因为里面有蛇，那个有四个脚的，象龙一样的是蛇。圣经中蛇是邪恶的化身，本来蛇是有脚的，但它引诱夏娃吃了罪恶之果，被上帝罚为现在的形状了。里面有很多动物，圣经里说那时的人是可以和动物交流，并和睦相处的。亚当夏娃在无花果树下，双手下垂遮住下体，说明他们已经吃过禁果，最后亚当夏娃被逐出伊甸园，按照圣经来说，他俩应该是痛苦的，但是作者表现的却是亚当夏娃追求新生和自由了。

A true story in Wenchuan Earthquake
Since the Wenchuan Earthquake happened, I've been moved by many many pictures, stories... And this one I just read from http://web.wenxuecity.com/BBSView.php?SubID=mychina&MsgID=294507, which is originally in Chinese (【感动母爱】母亲已死,3个月的孩子压在她身下,手机留下了 ...), I translated it into English to share with you because mother's great love is the same all over the world.
【Moved by mother's great love】A mum died, with her 3 months's baby under her body, and she left words on the mobile phone...
She has died when the rescuer found her. She was overwhelmed by crushed house. Through gaps of those ruins, we can see her last posture. Being on her knees, the upper part of the body was prostrate forward, with her hands on the ground to support body. That was something like an acient who was kowtowing, just looked eerie because she was out of shape by pressure.
The rescuers confirmed her death by touching her through the gaps of ruins. They shouted at the ruins again and again, knocked the bricks using the crowbar, but no response inside.
Then the rescuing team went to next building, suddenly the leader ran back, calling "come here". He came to the body, stretched his hands under the woman, feeling and touching, then shouted loudly "there is someone, a baby, still living".
Through some efforts, rescuers cleaned up the ruins carefully which blocked her. Under her body, lied her baby, who was wrapped in a small red quilt with yellow flowers scattered in red. He is about 3 or 4 months' old. Since well protected by mother's body, he is totally safe. He was sleeping on both ears when the rescuer carried him out, and his lovely and peaceful face warmed everyone around him. The doctor along with the rescuing team unfastened the quilt to check if the baby is all right, and he found there was a moible phone filled in the quilt. The doctor looked at the screen subliminally, a written message was already there: "my dear baby, if you coulde live, don't forget how much I love you". As a doctor, he experienced too much of parting for ever; but at this moment, he wept. The mobile was passed, every person who saw this message sheded tears.

Beautiful Dalian, beautiful memory
My colleage XueWei (http://blogs.sun.com/weixue/) went to Dalian as a speaker for Sun University World Tour at Dalian University of Technology. I admired him very much, because Dalian is one of my favourite cities, and I miss it since my last visit in 1997.
There are many excellent universities in Dalian; DLUT is one of them, also including Dalian University of Foreign Languages（DLUFL，大连外国语大学）, Dalian Maritime University（DLMU，大连海事大学）,etc. Each time I went to Dalian, I would select to live in DLMU, because one of my classmates is there. The meals that provided by the school were so good that I could eat them for many times during my stay.
Dalian people are very good-looking, both man and woman are tall and have nice skin. I think that is because they are living a seaside city. However, maybe you don't wann to hear their talking, because it is something like a quarrel due to special accent and tone.
There are many views in Dalian which are worthy of enjoying, such as Tiger Beach, Star Sea Park, Inscriptions Beach...If you want to go there, July-August are the best seasons.

恐怖的10种最短命的生活方式
危险方式1：
极度缺乏体育锻炼。在932名被调查者中，只有96人每周都固定时间锻炼，68％的人选择了“几乎不锻炼”。这极易造成疲劳、昏眩等现象，引发肥胖和心脑血管疾病。
危险方式2：
有病不求医。调查显示，将近一半的人在有病时自己买药解决，有三分之一的人则根本不理会任何表面的“小毛病”。许多上班一族的疾病被拖延，错过了最佳的治疗时间，一些疾病被药物表面缓解作用掩盖而积累成大病。
危险方式3：
缺乏主动体检。932人中，有219人从来不体检。
危险方式4：
不吃早餐。随着工作节奏加快，吃上符合营养要求的早餐已经成为办公室白领的奢求。被调查者中，只有219人是有规律、按照营养要求吃早餐的。不吃早餐或者胡乱塞几口成为普遍现象。
危险方式5：
与家人缺少交流。有超过41％的办公室人群很少和家人交流，即使家人主动关心，32％的人也常抱以应付的态度。在缺乏交流、疏导和宣泄的情况下，办公室人群的精神压力与日俱增。
危险方式6：
长时间处在空调环境中。在上班时，超过7成的人一年四季除了外出办事外，几乎常年窝在空调房中。“温室人”的自身肌体调节和抗病能力下降。
危险方式7：
常坐不动。被调查者中，有542人的工作习惯是一旦坐下来，除非上厕所，就轻易不站起来。久坐，不利于血液循环，会引发很多新陈代谢和心血管疾病；坐姿长久固定，也是颈椎、腰椎发病的重要因素。
危险方式8：
不能保证睡眠时间。有超过6成的人经常不能保证8小时睡眠时间，另有7％的人经常失眠。
危险方式9：
面对电脑过久。31％的人经常每天使用电脑超过8小时。过度使用和依赖电脑，除了辐射外，还使眼病、腰颈椎病、精神性疾病在办公室群体中十分普遍。
危险方式10：
三餐饮食无规律。有超过1／3的人不能保证按时进食三餐，确保三餐定时定量的人不满半数。

About Solaris Zones and Containers
First many thanks to Joy's organization! She invited some engineers (Aijin Kim, Harry Fu) to give us (vendors, linguists, PMs) a demo to get familiar with this new technology. I am interested in since I began to do linguistic review on some translated documents. Some terms are really new and their corresponding Chinese couldn't be found on the internet. So here I made a summary, and hope it can help you get a basic understanding for it.
Solaris Zones: a separate, virtual Solaris environment within a Solaris instance.
Zone types:
Global (Default zone)
the only zone from which a non-global zone can be configured, installed, managed, or uninstalled.
provides a complete database that contains information about all installed components.
always uses the name global
Non-global
an installed subset of the complete Solaris Operating System software packages.
are not aware that any other zones exist
Solaris Containers can be built using one or more the following technologies:
Solaris Resource Manager, for workload resource management
Resource Pools, for partitioning
Zones, for isolation, security and virtualization
Solaris Container is not equivalent to a Solaris Zone.

My 2007 Beijing Marathon
Last Sunday morning, I runned 10km in the 2007 Beijing Marathon. The other two AGCers Rebecca Liu and Aaron Cheng also attended the same route, and all of us finished in one hour and a few minutes. I am satisfied with my result, which is similar with the result in my 2004 Beijing Marathon. I hope I can join in the event in 2008, maybe try 21km? blogs.sun.com/ann/resource/2007BJMarathon.JPG" />

Interesting similarities
I like going to one or two strange places each year. This year I selected Lushan, which is a place covers mountains and waters. Kongzi said: "The savant loves the mountain, the wise loves the water". And I love both of them, does it mean I am a savant as well as a wise?
Mount Lushan is located in the northern part of Jiangxi Province. The fantastic blend of mountains, sky, water and cragged cliffs proves Mount Lushan one of China's best summer resorts. So there are many villas on the mountain. The ownership of those villas is belonging to the central or local governments of China, but you can rent them if you like and have lots of money. Among those villas, the most famous one is called The Meilu Villa（美庐）. It was established in 1903 by Britain's Lord Lannoze. The whole building reflects British winding corridors architectural style, and stresses the abstract beautiful rule of the building. It was transferred to the Mrs. Bali in 1922, and she presented it as a gift to Song Meiling（宋美龄）in 1934. From then on, here became the summer official residence of Jiang Jieshi (the chairman of KMT, the husband of Song Meiling). During the meetings of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Mao Zedong lived there.
Lushan's beauty has been admired for centuries. About 1200 years ago, Li Bai, a master poet of Tang dynasty, portrayed Mount. Also other ancient poets like Bai Junyi, Susi wrote poems to describe the sceneries. In the 1970s, a famous film called Romance on Lushan Mountain (Lushan Lian) had displayed the beauty of Lushan through the screen. There is a cinema on the mountain which is showing and only shows this film repeatedly. Almost everyone who come to Lushan is willing to enjoy it, sure I am.
In Lushan, another place which is worth going is Bailu Academy. It was one of the Four Great Academies of Classical Learning in the past. The creator of the academy is Zhuxi, who was a protagonist of Confucianism in the Southern Song Dynasty. There are 37 kiosks which were established for the memory of Zhuxi. One of them is called Gao Mei Kiosk（高美亭）, which already disappeared, now only a big stone there which indicates its ever existence.
My manager's manager's Chinese name is Gao Meiling（高美龄）, I think she must be surprised to see there are two similarities in the same place.

Over the Rainbow
Just learn about this song from a TV show, and love it immediately. I begin and like enjoying the songs recently. I don't know the reasons, maybe I am not in the mood, or I got an iPod. Some of my friends asked me which kind of songs I like, because the songs I shared with them are of many types--Korean or Chinese; popular or classic; love songs or jazz. But one thing I am clear now is Jazz will be my favorite.

Happy Birthday!
Today is my solar calendar birth date! I experienced a lot:
--An handsome man said to me: Happy Birthday, it is a pity that he has been married.
--I got a bad news and it made me gloomy but I will not give it up.
--Listened a good speech by our new group manager. And I am sure she will bring us some surprises.
--I am happy to know there are many friends around me. I should say: thanks to you all!!! I feel better after talking with you
