A bit of a latecomer to Coldplay's works as I discovered the group in early 2002 when I listened to their number Parachutes. An instant Google search enlightend me that it was a British band called Coldplay, and I had to hear more. I purchased "Parachutes", which was the groups's debut album (2000) and it didn't take long to be "hooked". I found that no matter what I was listening to, I ended up listening to the same CD. Well, this led to collecting all their albums either CDs or MP3s.

But why? What was it about this band? In order to explain, you'll have to allow me to get a little hyperbolic. Let's start with the word talent. Von Goethe said "A really great talent finds its happiness in execution." And I see no greater joy or richness of expression than in the talented work of this band. You feel it in every piece they have composed.

The band members are: Chris Martin (lead vocals), Jon Buckland (lead guitar), Will Champion (drums), Guy Berryman (base player).
