I might have bought couple of pictures but a simple 5x7 is $14 and an 8x10 is $21. I think these prices are exorbitant especially when I get my digital pictures printed at $0.19 at Costco. They can certainly charge for the labor and probably better print quality, but I don't feel justified paying that much!!

Congratulations Arun. Do you plan to run other marathons ?

Thank you! Yes, I do plan to run other marathons :) Any suggestions ?

I have only ran 4 marathons so far, but I really liked Paris Marathon. If you ever fly to France, try to do it in April and enter the marathon.
Paris is a beautiful city and running it's marathon gives you unique opportunity to wander through its streets, with no traffic.
Champs Elysées, Notre Dame, Tour Eiffel...
Even if I live in Paris and know it's monuments, running past them makes you see them in a very different light.
You must have felt the same way running in San Francisco.
Otherwise, you can have a look at the web site I've created that lists more than 850 marathon world wide. I'm sure you'll find one that will suit you. http://www.42k195.com
What made you enter a marathon the first time ?

I've been running for 20 years but never extreme running like Marathon. Interestingly a neighbor stopped by and said he is running a 1/2 marathon in 3 weeks. With a 25-mile week for past few weeks I thought I'll give it a try and then got hooked :)
The directory is just wonderful and goes in my bookmarks and will go in a separate blog as well. How can I submit a new marathon ?

It's funny, we all seem to follow the same process. There's always a friend, neighbor or colleague to help us switch from jogger to runner (run farther than 10k) but the decision to enter a marathon is always more personal.
Thank you Arun for your kind remark. Can you send me the address of the separate blog ?
If you want to submit a new marathon, just send me an e-mail with the URL of the official website for the marathon. 42k195.com isn't fully web 2.0 ;-) For the moment, I really want to focus on the quality of the information provided.
