6.1 is now available in Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Brazilian
Portuguese! The entire range of NetBeans Packs and Bundles can be
downloaded in these languages, as well as in English.
Netbeans is no more just a Java IDE. It supports PHP ( Netbeans Early Access for PHP ), Ruby and so many other languages too.
Coolest thing about Netbeans is the Matisse Builder where you could
just Drag and Drop components into your GUI Application. Netbeans is
way faster now and is the Coolest Grand Unified IDE.

Hello Fellow Students / Developers. Sun Developer Network introduces Sun Student Courses. Here students can get a good understanding about Sun Technologies. There are good learning notes, Assignments , Quizzes etc to make learning fun and interactive. Currently 3 courses are available at this portal. Students will be getting an online certificate at their inbox after successfully completing a course. I have done the courses and are very informative and i found them very useful for the Demos at College.

Netbeans Plugfest was conducted as a part of Computer Science events of The Annual TechFest ENGINEER of National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal India.The Primary aim of the contest was that students had to develop Plugins for Netbeans IDE.

The best Plugin entries were awarded with a Cash Prize and a Certificate.This was a National Level Competition.

Second Prize : Rahul Garg who is the Campus Ambassador of  L N Mittal College of Engineering, Jaipur
