In the spirit of "over the wire", here's some news - Sun just announced that it is open sourcing the Sun Java System Portal Server along with other products and technologies. Check out the announcements/references here, here, here and here.

This serves as both my initial foray into blogging, as well as a test post. So, "Hello World".
This has been long coming (2+ years I think..). Glad to be finally on the blogosphere. And with JavaOne just underway, what better opportunity.
I plan to pen thoughts on a variety of topics, and at the same time absorb and learn in this new era they call the "participation age". More on that later. I look forward to the sharing and learning.
