Wednesday October 04, 2006 What is wrong with "middle" America?
If thise quote below from a friend who has recently relocated to Kansas City is to be believed, it is little wonder that Bush managed to survive the last election. The discussion started with a comment about the lack of news (including broadcasters such as CNN) about anything that happened in the world outside of Kansas City - it is little wonder then that "middle" America has a very thing grasp on world issues and how the greater world now views the USA. But the question in my mind is, who in the church would be passing down the line to their clergy to preach about such things?
The quote is:
``> this "church" in kansas believes that god is punishing the US military in Iraq because of the US views towards homosexuals.. I don't think watching world news will help them. :)''
