Vote for my hair cut!

I can never work out what my hair cut should be, so I usually cut it real short then let it grow, beard and all. Should I have a mustache? Is a beard better? Or should I take it all off? Well a beard might make me a more successful programing language author, but I did not have the intention of writing one just now.

To help me decide I took a picture of each of the 5 stages of my haircut. Vote for your preferred style, and help me make a good decision, the Web2.0 way. ;-)

# 5, but lose the moustache. If you're going to keep the facial hair then #4, but shave the goatee much tighter. Have the barber do the sides and back of your head with a 0A razor (that's between skin and a "1" razor)

Ouch! It looks like the mad monk look (3) is winning! My only way out now, is to argue that there is an overwhelming male response rate. Perhaps females would vote differently :-/ How do I get more female readers? ;-)

My vote would actually be "none of the above" first - #2, but with beard trimmed more towards jaw line (seems to go too far below as-is) with Lenin (#3) getting second choice

Yeah, #3 is it. You could also shave your head all the way.

#4 looks like "Dr. Z" from the car commercials and #5 looks like the bad guy from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I know the forms below are a little small. We have asked for years for this to be changed, but I don't think it's going to happen soon. In Apple's Safari you can resize the entry box with you mouse.
