Every year the village where I live, Boechout, is home to the Sfinks festival, 3 days of world music. This year it also features film and circus acts. Friday night is free for locals and this year it is all about gipsy music. Great food and market too. If you are around, pay us a visit. You might bump into me.

Why the 'bitstream' ? When I was a Fido point in 1986 - yes I started very young - I had to chose a handle. After some thinking I concluded all bits travelled on an electronic version of the Tao, the bitstream, so I still sign all my emails with 'See you on the bitstream', that eternal stream of bits, made up of all the messages, webpages and now pictures and movies we send each other...

I was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium and now live in Boechout, a green village between Antwerpen and Lier, home of the Sfinks world music festival each year. I live with my Golden Retriever Jack. My hobbies include running, tai chi, astronomy.
