Yes, another festival in town... It seems Belgium is getting in vogue with young travellers, and one of the reasons apparently is the number of music festivals here in summer. This weekend is for older geezers like me, the famous Jazz Middelheim festival in Antwerpen. Toots Thielemans is playing now and Branford Marsalis is on stage Sunday night.

Every year the village where I live, Boechout, is home to the Sfinks festival, 3 days of world music. This year it also features film and circus acts. Friday night is free for locals and this year it is all about gipsy music. Great food and market too. If you are around, pay us a visit. You might bump into me.
