A very interesting blogpost by the CTO of SmuMug - a photo sharing site - on his experience with OpenSolaris, ZFS and MySQL in production is here. Found it through an entry in the blog of Marc Hamilton.
This is a good example of a web 2.0 company using our open source tools today.

Today it was officially announced that I transfer to the systems practice @ Sun Belgium. As a solution architect I will focus on the Coolthreads servers (CMT) and Web 2.0. I am also part of the competence center for volume servers, so I act as backup for Peter De Clerck for x64, HPC and blade systems.
So expect to see a lot of entries here about how good we are in the webspace with MySQL and the multi-threaded, multi-core environment we offer with CMT servers !
