Views on software from Bryan Cantrill's deck chair The Observation Deck

Finally, we have the South Park of operating systems: Inside Jack. It's really pretty funny -- and it even offers a rare glimpse (albeit animated) at Mike, the shadowy and elusive third member of Team DTrace. And if you enjoyed that episode of Inside Jack, there's an earlier episode that's also pretty amusing.

hee hee: "he'll debug anything!" Who comes up with these anyway? They're brilliant.

Mike doesn't say much, does he? He's rather like a cardboard cutout, though we know he really isn't. Two things I hope I live to see: a) another Net Talk about DTrace with Bryan rattling off facts and zinging the competition (and gtik_applet2) at a million miles an hour b) an Inside Jack cartoon about SunRays Then I'll be able to die happy and amused. :)

Is there anything kooler than Scott doing a keynote in Kligon? I wish they'd break of just that part so I didn't have to keep watching the thing over just for that part. Of course... it's kinda funny to watch one of these at a Sun event surrounded by 40000000000 marketing/PR/sales droids... but, whatever. :)

Hey, I'm a Clingan who doesn't speak Klingon. I'm being out-done by an animated cartoon (no offense, boss).

Derek, you are spot-on about a Sun Ray Inside Jack. Oh what a few beers and a blank sheet of paper can do on that topic .... :)
