Monday November 23, 2009 I would like to thank Chip Bennett and all of the fine folks from Laurus Technologies for hosting the November meeting of the Great Lakes OpenSolaris Users Group (GLUG), especially on such a short notice. It was a pleasure coming back and I enjoyed meeting up some some old friends and making some new ones.
We had a rather nice discussion around recent enhancements to ZFS. As promised, I have posted my slides for your review. Please let me know if you have any trouble downloading them or if you find any confusing or erroneous bits.

Don't know what is causing you the trouble. The direct URL should be http://mediacast.sun.com/users/netherton/media/zfs-update-nov09 and it should stream down a rather beefy PDF file. I just did it with a wget and it came down cleanly. Web analytics show other folks are downloading it, so maybe there was a server or proxy problem when you tried it. If you can't get a copy drop me some email and I'll send it to you that way.
