Kristian Rink: Docs Contributor
Hi all,
Now we have another NetBeans Community DOcs contributor in a NetBeans 6.0 T-shirt. (If you remember, I asked all of the NetBeans Community Docs contributors to send me a photo in their new NetBeans 6.0 T-shirts.) Today I received a photo of Kristian Rink. Kristian has been very, very active in the Community Docs program. He has contributed six times! Here's a list of what he has done so far:
- Import an Eclipse WTP project into NetBeans
- Einstieg in NetBeans: Grundlagen
- Einstieg in NetBeans: Java SE - Projekte
- Einstieg in NetBeans: Maven2 - Projekte
- Code Template Backup
- Web-Services with NetBeans for Eclipse users
A Java developer for 8+ years, living and working in Dresden (about an hour by car from NetBeans headquarter in Prague), Kristian had been with Eclipse since 2.x, but changed to NetBeans with early 6.0 pre-releases.
This is what Kristian has to say about NetBeans and the NetBeans Community:
"So far, we're internally into migrating a bunch of legacy tool to get this job done. Plus, I have learnt that NetBeans folks, despite being a "smaller" crowd than possibly the Eclipse community, is a fine and friendly bunch of people always willing to help once you're stuck somewhere. Really appreciate that."
And the community really appreciates members like Kristian.
Why don't you follow Kristian's example and contribute? It's easy to do, just go to the NetBeans Community Docs wiki and follow the instructions.
Community members, send me those photos!
See you tomorrow!
