NB Community Docs Spotlight: John Kostaras

Hi again,
It's time again for the NetBeans Community Docs Spotlight. This time we head to Brussels, Belgium, home of the European Parliament. It's there that we find the latest focus of our spotlight: John Kostaras. John is the author of the Introduction to Ruby on Rails tutorial.
John's tutorials introduces you to Ruby on Rails using NetBeans 6, and walks you through creating a functioning web application in about fifteen minutes.
And now more about John: John works for the European Parliament, and - as a matter of fact - if you go to http://www.europarl.europa.eu/, you'll see exactly what kind of work John does. John has been using the NetBeans IDE for only about six months, but lately he has been using it more intensively. This is very interesting when you consider that he and his colleagues used Eclipse at work. When asked what he liked best about NetBeans, he replied that NetBeans has "great JSF support" and "plenty of new ideas".
By submitting his Ruby on Rails tutorial, John has shown us all just how easy it is to become a successful community contributor. Remember, contributions can come in a variety of forms: tips & tricks, tutorials, FAQS, screencasts, etc. To contribute, just go to the NetBeans Community Docs wiki and follow the instructions.
See you tomorrow!
