NB Community Docs Spotlight: Kok-Yan-Lo

Hello again,

The NetBeans Community Docs Spotlight crosses the English Channel once again. It slowly focuses in on London where we find our latest Community Contributor: Kok-Yan-Lo. Kok-Yan has submitted a Tips & Tricks entry to the NetBeans Community Docs wiki: Resolving NetBeans Web App Deployment Problems (Apache Tomcat). We can never get enough tips and tricks, can we? They make our lives a lot easier.

Kok-Yan, a student at the University of Surrey at Guildford, has been using NetBeans on and off for the past two years, mostly for Java-based coursework. This is what Kok-Yan would like to share with others:

" Since I've only really used MS Visual Studio and NetBeans on a part time basis, I don't really have enough experience to say what my favorite feature is (there are many I don't even know exist...). However, saying that, of the feature I've used, I really like the auto complete feature (Ctrl + Space) - especially when the description (javadoc?) is present; it's very handy knowing what methods / properties is accessible."

Kok-Yan show us all how easy it is to be a contributor. Contributions can come in many forms: tips & tricks, tutorials, Flash demos, you name it. So what's stopping you from being a contributor? Make your mark on the community today. Just go to the NetBeans Community Docs wiki, follow the instructions, and soon you'll be a community star.

See you tomorrow!
