Trivial Tidbits

Of the 206 bones in the human body, over half are located in the hands (27 each) and feet (26 each).

The longest bone in the human body is the femur in the thigh. On average, the femur accounts for almost a quarter of the overall height of the body.

The smallest bone in the human body is the stapes (or 'stirrup') in the middle ear. The stapes is only about a tenth of inch long.
