Bob's blog starts today

Hello World! I'm not exactly sure that's the right way to start a blog, but it seems appropriate in some way... I've been meaning to start my blog for some time now and I'm glad to I have finally signed up for it. This is a great time to be at Sun and I wanted to share that with you. I've been at Sun since 1998 and I'm really excited about our new line of products and solutions. I'm an architect for global media and entertainment accounts, so I get to work with some interesting customers on cool projects. I'll share where I can and talk about some things in the industry. Part of my responsibility to help grow the technical community at Sun supporting media technologies. But part of growing includes a very important constituency – customers and developers – so I wanted to find a way to reach them, too. I'm also an avid cyclist, so you'll see some posts about that too. By the way, the "bs" in the URL has nothing to do with the content, just my initials. Have a good one and thanks for reading!
