30 Apr 2006 Bicycling in Bay Area
For past few weekends I have been exploring the bay area by biking (cycling). Both the bay trail which runs along the San-Francisco bay or the hills that make the peninsula are like 30-45 minutes by bike. Hills on the south have excellent roads to pedal. It is extremely thrilling to glide downhill at certain roads!

It is spring time here and a pleasant weather to cycle. Green grass and flowers remind me of the paddy fields and farms near Bhadravathi. My brother and me much enjoyed exploring those village roads on cycles.

Yes indeed - I've been out on the bicycle both days this weekend, and I feel as if the dark and wet wintertime is finally over (not that we have anything at all to complain about here in the Bay Area - I grew up in New York State and Colorado, so I know a thing or two about 'real' winter... ;-) Just in case you have not seen this, check out the bay trail project: http://www.baytrail.org They have a great set of maps that is well worth a donation. I hope I see you out on the trails, and Best Regards- Tim
