07 Dec 2005 CoolServer GDM theme for the Cool UltraSPARC T1 servers
Celebrating the launch of the new Sun Fire T1000 and T200 servers and UltraSPARC-T1 processor, here is a GDM login theme to make your screens look and feel like the server hardware! It uses the new Sun Grid Rack System door as the back ground with one of the removable disks from T2000 as the login box.

To use it (a) you must have GDM enabled (b) the above file must be untarred in /usr/share/gdm/themes (or see the GDM configuration manual)

one comment: the date/time might be easier to read in a different colour. white possibly? it's hard to read when it overlays on the grill. and one request: a widescreen version please :-) ever just replicating the grill in the center would be fine. i just figure it's easier for you to do it than for me, since you presumably have the original with layers intact.
