When I saw this news item on TV thier hit count calculations seemed a bit unscientific to me.

So I tried this experiment: Searching for "Sun Microsystems" in www.google.com says that it found about 176,000,000 pages. On the other hand www.google.co.uk says it has only 77,900,000 pages. Going by the logic of the above news item, United Kingdom is making Google censor half of the Internet pages that have something to say about Sun! :-)

So maybe it's the US who are censoring Sun ;-)

My gramma owns stocks at major computer companies. Sun microsystems is google, they are all apple, and they belong with oracle. It's called an alliance.

Here we are http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=fr&q=Sun+Microsystems&btnG=Recherche+Google gave me 189 000 000 http://www.google.fr/search?hl=fr&q=Sun+Microsystems&btnG=Recherche+Google&meta= gave me 194 000 000 (when I type google.com it drives me to .fr) I would try to googl.cn but it drives me to .fr too =/

For the UK Results 1 - 10 of about 42,400,000 now for the us on I got Results 1 - 10 of about 42,400,000
