Every once in a while, I find a need to determine the default settings of parameters not already specified in option.dat. The obscure command makes me spend several minutes looking it up every time:
# imsimta cnbuild -noimage -option_file=/tmp/option.dat.dist
# cd /tmp
# ls -l option.*
-rw------- 1 mailsrv mailsrv 4862 Feb 21 12:04 option.dat.dist
