The Winner Takes it All

"I would thrash you anywhere -
Marsh or mountain, hill or dale,
Field or forest, rain or hail!"
Snapped the tortoise slow and steady:
"Choose your place, and I'll be ready.
Choose your time, and make it soon."
"Here!" the hare said: "Sunday at noon."
- The Tortoise and the Hare beautifully retold (with an interesting twist) by Vikram Seth in Beastly Tales from Here and There.
This familiar fable originally written by Aesop has several interesting new versions and spin-offs. This fable has also inspired this interesting paradox that claims that "you can never catch up".
But Glassfish is certainly catching up and is poised to lead the Application Server race. It has proven its popularity with the community. A recently conducted Evans Data Survey places Glassfish ahead of JBoss and Oracle. Glassfish is slated to be the next big thing and one of the reasons is that it's well documented, says this software enterprise architect.
On another note, the Application Server documentation (beta) for Java Enterprise System (JES) 5 is available. This is your chance to speak out on those niggling documentation issues that have bothered you. Go ahead and post your comments/feedback on the Application Server documentation for JES 5 on this blog.
