Wednesday November 15, 2006 I've just returned from the Latest London Open Solaris User Group meeting where we had an excellent talk by Gavin Maltby on FMA.
The demo with him injecting an unrecoverable error into our main build system could only have been topped if it had been our Sun Ray server. For some reason he does not have the root password to that. Obviously, thanks to FMA the result of the unrecoverable error was nothing worse than the application being killed and the CPU taken offline, very cool. (Note to self not to believe any of the error reports on that system until I have checked that Gavin has not been "testing".
With luck he will put the slides up on his blog some time.
