"Flash-like" effects

Here's an F3 demo that demonstrates the kind of visual effects commonly seen in Flash programs, but more rarely in Java programs. As you can see Java is very capable of delivering such behavior.

Comments:

Nice demo !!! However, I can't see the words clearly on my LCD. May be its need better support of LCD text.

It will scale if you resize the frame, if that helps.

Great. This, plus the newer stuff coming out of SwingLabs--you guys are on a run. Hope you can build a community around. Hope you can avoid the pitfalls that have given applets and JWS a bad reputation. This is exciting stuff! Patrick

Does the Java Web Start descriptor really need all permissions for a web-hosted demo?
