Interesting demo and the fps seem pretty good to me. However, I wanted to point out, that the Link u set for "Bubblemark" is not correct ;-) - you have linked a website called "http://boublemark.com/" which doesn't exist :-).

there i check The Swing version runs at 64fps for me Swing optiomazed version too runs for 64fps, Using Vectors 61.2 and 5sec after 64fps PulpCore framework (dont know what is this ) i get 277fps ! Flex ersion 56fps, DHTML 56~59fps as i sad tested on Pentium Dual Core 2.9Ghz ,1.9Gb Ram

I also get 64 fps on Windows - CPU usage is rock bottom while running the demo - ProcessExplorer shows the java process using <1% CPU.

JRE = build 1.6.0_05-ea-b05
PC = Dual Xeon 2.8GHz, 2.0Gb RAM
Graphics = Quadro NVS 280 PCI-E

64 fps with < 1% processor use

as soon as a resized the window, it dropped to ~24 fps and the processor use shot up to 50%

64 fps and 0-5% CPU usage,
and 25 fps and ~100% CPU usage after the window maximized.
Note: on some systems OS-level timer-resolution will limit your fps. E.g. you'll see a max of 64 fps for any of the bubblemark examples blogs.sun thank you

we only require 2d, 3d, and 4d vectors and 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 matrices. These types are provided in a new package called javafx.math, http://www.watchgy.com/ namely Vec2, Vec3, Vec4, Mat2, Mat3, Mat4.
