Tuesday January 09, 2007 The average time lapse between me reading about a new car and seeing it on Dubai's roads is about two days, with the record being reading an article on the new (at the time) Range Rover Sport whilst touching down and seeing one on the way home in a taxi thirty minutes later.
As I won't be home until the early hours of Friday morning, it'll be at least 4 days or so until I expect to see one of these.
First impressions are that Rolls Royce appear to have done the right thing and have dropped the current saloon model's hideous rectangular headlights - the only think preventing me from buying one myself, of course.
Cosmo Cafe, on the ground floor of our building, is a popular hangout with wealthier locals, where I often spot two Rollers of a Thursday evening. Can't wait to see one of these!
