How to build a bridge

Here's a picture of the bridge building 'machine' I mentioned a couple of posts ago that is now joining the dots of the Dubai Metro.

As mentioned in my earlier post, how do you plan a business around these things? One of my tasks at Sun is to predict the number of Sun Rays that the factory needs to build in order to satisfy demand in my region. I used to think that was a hard task - imagine predicting how many of these the world market requires?

I would actually think it would be easier than your task. These things, I'm sure, are hugely expensive and the projects they are used for are even more ridiculously expensive. And it involves government so we know the lead times much be long. Plus there can't be that many projects going on in the world where these would be even considered. But I'm probably way off because I have no idea about things things ;-)
