Systems Administrators Mash Up : Event No. 2 in Cardiff

Thursday Jan 22, 2009

The 2nd event for Academic Systems Administrators is being held in conjunction with Cardiff University on the 28th of January (next Wednesday). If you fit the description, live in south Wales or the west Country (they have a very nice bridge over the river, so nice you need to pay) and have not got an invite, then drop me a mail and I will get you signed up.

We have a solid technical line up talking about a random collection of interesting Solaris subjects( including but not limited to Virtualization, OpenSolaris packaging, CIFS and VSCAN, DTrace and Security and more ) by proper techies including Chris Gerhard, Lewis Thompson, Brian Glynn and myself. We also hope to have a speaker from Gwent Police Crime Forensics Unit for something a bit different.

This day will be a marketing free zone.

If you come from Bristol or Bath, it will be well worth the toll!

Clive, I added this event to BigAdmin's Community Events Calendar:

You can add future events directly to the calendar since it's on our wiki.

Good luck!
