Cell phone reception on Seana Bhraigh

Wednesday Sep 26, 2007

I have taken to using my cell phone instead of a watch to tell the time, so I don't tend to turn it off. I was quite annoyed to find that my cell phone worked on top of Seana Bhraigh last week. OK, on a global scale of 1 to remote, Senna Bhraigh may not even be a 5, but as one of the more remote areas in the UK, it demonstrates the progress of cell phone coverage in the last few years(unless you live in mid-Wales).

However, it was impossible to even tell who called me due to the noise generated by the wind, so you can still get away from it all.
