I came across this flyer, where walks around Bangalore are conducted by a company called bangalorewalks.com. There are walks around various themes, like a victorian/end of empire walk, a beer walk (wow !!) and a green walk. I like the idea of a green walk around lalbagh gardens, but I dont care much about the victorian walks or the end of empire walk (which will remind me of our british colonial masters!!). Of course, if you are brave or can find a local to guide you, I will recommend a walk in Malleshwaram, Basavanagudi, City market, Chickpet/Majestic area anytime. The website seems painfully slow, please have patience !!
