A more complete introduction

Thursday Dec 15, 2005

My previous post could not be described as informative so I've decided to make a better effort this time.
I work for Sun Microsystems in Dublin in the Solaris PIT (Pre-Integration Test) team. I'm still a relative newbie as I just joined last June after spending a number of years with Ericsson. So other than trying to get my head around test suites and logging as many bugs as I can I'm also working on an end user portal for OpenSolaris which will enable users to test their changes using 'real' test suites.
Just so I don't sound too boring here are a few pictures of what I can get up to in my free time.
That's me on the 'plane', it actually flew/fell quite well in fact I didn't even get wet on landing which you can see here, the guys aka the engines were not so lucky.
Other than trying to kill myself I also do a fair amount of scuba diving, poker (to subsidize the diving), various types of dancing and am currently trying to teach myself the piano. So that's it a real blog entry and it wasn't even that hard.
