Free Online Java Web Services and SOA Training
Sang Shin's doing another great course. From Sang:

The 3rd session of the "Web Services and SOA Programming" online course starts from August 24th. The topics for the course are here

This new session will have heavy emphasis on the following 4 technology areas.

  • New Java APIs for Web Services (JAX-WS, JAXB, REST)
  • WSIT (Project Tango)
  • SOA Technologies (BPEL, JBI, Open ESB)
  • GlassFish (Java EE 5, JBI runtime, Service Engines)

For the Hands-on labs, the “out of the box” support of the above technologies by NetBeans 6.0 (both in terms of designer tool and runtime) will be heavily leveraged:

  • XML Schema editor
  • WSDL editor
  • BPEL designer
  • CASA
To register for this course, all you have to do is send a blank email to the course subscription alias.

Hi David, I wanted to actually go for the previous 2 session of online training of "Web Services and SOA Programming". I have missed them both as i was unaware of it. Please guide me through it.

Hi Prathamesh,

Don't understand what guidance you need: all you have to do is send an email as detailed above.

Regards, David

Hi David, I mean I wanted to have course material (if available) or links for the previous two sessions held for the same. I am completely unaware of Web Services and SOA technologies and I attending 3rd session without doing any home work will be a problem for me. I will register for the training as instructed but I need to have some background in order to grasp most out of the session. Thanx's for your quick reply.

Oh, I see your confusion: I believe this is simply the 3rd time this course has been offered - with some updating - rather than a more advanced course.

So all the materials you'll need will be provided with the course.

Regards, David

Thanx's a lot David. Now that everything is clear I have enrolled for the course.
