Getting Things Done, Rarotonga Style
In the middle of seven (count'em, 7!) weeks of a Rarotonga holiday: it's been quite wonderful weather, tho a little hot in the last few days (30 degrees is OK, but 33-4 with 90-odd percent humidity tends to rot my mind - however, snorkeling in the lagoon, looking at the pretty fishes, restores the soul). Today is a bit cooler, with a light breeze. All in all, it's been great, quite the best we've experienced here.

I've become interested in GTD - been reading the book, and am now deciding on the appropriate technology (of course!) to implement it. I've been tossing between a TiddlyWiki, and an app called Tracks. I think I'm leaning towards the latter. Nice implementation, despite it being a web application: it's done in Ruby on Rails, AJAXed up, and performs well. And of course if it really starts to bug me, I can always implement a rich client version in Java, can't I?
