Cool Discovery for a Music Lover
I recently learned about a new web radio site called Musicovery, thanks to Rolling Stone, and I'm completely addicted. This site allows users to listen to a continuous stream of songs that not only suit their favorite musical genres, but also their current mood and tempo preference. You can also choose to hear hits only, non-hits only, or both.
So, what's so great about this site? Well, I may have 10GB of music in my library, but even that huge selection can get old after a while. Musicovery allows me to discover new music that I would never hear otherwise, and leaves the playlist up to someone else.
Sunday morning I felt "calm" and "positive" - these are two of the mood labels you can select on the site - and I must say the playlist this tool generated was spot on. I even heard a deep cut from one of my favorite bands of all time, Depeche Mode. But even better, I heard some Latin music I never knew existed. After all, discovery is what this site is all about.

Nice! Thanks for the pointer. I've made myself all dark and calm...
