Pedro and Marcelo, Sun Campus Ambassadors  presented a talk about Zones and Dtrace in opensolaris operating system this night at Campus Party.

Zones, an O.S. abstraction for partitioning systems, allowing multiple applications to run in isolation from each other on the same physical hardware and DTrace is a dynamic tracing framework for opensolaris which provides a infrastructure to allow administrators and developers to concisely answer arbitrary questions about the behavior of the operating system and user programs (since the kernel to high level), the scripts of this tool are written in a programming language called D.

They talked about features, presented a little tutorial and they also talked about the social network provided by sun to students opensource comunity, OSUM.

After that many people came to us to know more abous this technology, it was great.
