CTI Survey Results and T-shirt Winners
In September 2009 we launched a survey in order to find out bit more about CTI users and identify priorities of requests for CTI enhancements. During 10 days we collected 57 answers (37 fully finished) from participants from all over the world. To reward some of those who took their time and answered our questions we announced that 20 free T-shirts will be given out (t-shirts shown here). The draw took place in the SUN office in Prague and lucky winners will be contacted and will receive their T-shirts soon. We took a few pictures during the draw And the winners are:
In case you are not able to read the names :-) , here is a list of winners, providing the first name only (no order here):
The results from the survey are presented at our CTI webpages at wikis.sun.com The results are pretty interesting. Regarding RFEs prioritization, Search and Existence of Translation technologies (like Glossary, Terminology Database, etc) are the most requested features. The chart bellow summarizes priorities of other requests. Regarding Overall user satisfaction with the CTI tool all respondents had to choose one of the following options:
The results are shown as a pie chart:
Even though the results are quite positive (almost 80% of respondents feel OK about CTI) we got to understand a lot of gaps that we would like to improve in the future. The prioritization helps us plan the most required features first.
More details about CTI results survey can be found at survey results wiki.
