Just switch! - Multi-language Support in StarOffice 8
With StarOffice 8 it is possible to switch the UI language without having to install multiple instances of the StarOffice suite. This can be useful for example in school environments where the office suite is used as an additional tool to teach new languages. The feature might also be convenient for call centers, etc. where multiple users share one desktop system.

The configuration dialog can be accessed via "Tools - Options ...":



After changing the user interface language the application needs to be restarted.



After the restart the user interface is in German.



As you can see, French and Spanish are also supported.



Since I'm currently learning French (due to the huge success of OpenOffice.org in France!), I will probably make the French version my default very soon. ;-)
